$ 235,000 – Walla Walla County

Our client was a long-time employee of Walla Walla County’s Sheriff’s Department. She suffered several on-the-job injuries, including an assault by an inmate at the jail, and these injuries resulted in her needing accommodation at her work. Over time, it became clear that her employer was no longer interested in working with her and made a variety of false accusations against her which resulted in her being fired. We investigated and learned that our client had been targeted by her employer, without her fully understanding it, for over a year before she was fired.

$ 145,000 – Grant County

Our client was injured when another driver rear-ended him toward the latter part of the lunch hour, on a clear summer day. As we reviewed the facts of this case, it became clear that the person who hit our client had a story that did not make any sense. We dug further and learned that this person had a number of past run-ins with the law for possession of narcotics. This investigation lead to this very favorable resolution for our client.

Policy Limits (6 figure settlement) – Douglas County

A young man was seriously injured when a car he was a passenger in attempted a dangerous pass, in Douglas County. Unfortunately, the vehicle in which he was traveling carried minimal insurance, and the family was concerned about their ability to pay the extensive medical bills that the young man was incurring. Our office not only secured waivers of all outstanding medical bills from the various providers, but also located an additional insurance policy, which was previously unknown to all the folks involved in the collision. Although the insurance company initially denied coverage, we were able to persuade them otherwise.
