The City of Dover, Idaho is requesting proposals to provide professional services for the processing and issuance of Building Permits, for the performance of necessary inspections, and for code enforcement pursuant to adopted building codes, fire codes and development codes.

The City of Dover, Idaho is requesting proposals to provide professional services for the processing and issuance of Building Permits, for the performance of necessary inspections, and for code enforcement pursuant to adopted building codes, fire codes and development codes.

SCOPE OF SERVICES - The Contractor shall process and issue Building Permits, perform necessary inspections related to, and provide code enforcement of the adopted Building Codes, fire codes and other development codes such as, setback and height requirements, storm water facilities and floodplain development standards in conjunction with Building Permits. No services will be provided by the Contractor for enforcement of zoning, subdivision, or any such land use related codes or regulations, unless associated with the processing of a building permit. The Contractor’s duty is to determine whether the plans and specifications conform to the applicable City adopted Building Code and to confirm that the installation activities conform to the drawings and specifications presented. Any deviation from the approved drawings and specifications shall be noted and reported to the applicant or the applicant’s agent and City, and in the manner as prescribed within the applicable adopted Building Code.

Interested parties shall submit proposals for such services to the city clerk at Dover City Hall located at 699 Lakeshore Ave, PO Box 115, Dover, ID 83825 no later than 1:00 pm December 2, 2013. Said proposals shall include at a minimum a statement of qualifications with citing relevant experience and current applicable licensing.
