Margaret "Diane" Bayley

Margaret "Diane" Bayley, 68, of Othello, passed away on November 11, 2013 at Crystal Springs Adult Care Center in Moses Lake.

Diane was born on February 23, 1945 to Leslie and Janice (Grogan) Bothke in San Bernadino, CA.

She was raised and educated in San Bernadino. After she graduated she went to work for Bell Telephone. In 1969 she met Dale Bayley, they were married on August 23, 1969. In 1972 they moved to Othello to farm. Diane and Dale farmed hay until retiring in 2006. They bought an RV and traveled around the U.S..

Diane was an active member of the Old Hotel Art Gallery since 1978. She served on the Board of directors for the gallery for many years and was president of the board several times. She enjoyed her yard, and her gardens, vegetable and flowers especially roses. Her favorite time was that spent with her family. Diane loved animals, especially Horses and her dogs. She felt no one could be complete without a dog.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband Dale of Othello, her daughter Leslie Jensen of Seattle, 2 sons Monte Graybeal of Wenatchee and Michael Bayley of Othello, and a brother David Bothke of Moses Lake, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 23, 2013 at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM.
