Elderly man missing

BRIDGEPORT — Douglas County law enforcement are asking for help in locating an elderly man suffering from dementia who has been missing since Tuesday morning.

Gordon Benjamin Beadell, 81, from Bridgeport, was reported missing about 8 a.m. Tuesday when a friend said Beadell never returned after he said he was reportedly heading to Walmart in Chelan on Monday night, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Beadell is insulin dependent and reportedly left without his medication.

He was last seen driving a red 1998 Buick Skylark with WA license plate 91344DP.

Deputies have contacted Beadell's family members and friends for information on his possible whereabouts but so far there are no leads as to where me might be.

Beadell is listed in the state and national database as an endangered missing person. The sheriff's office asks anyone with information to call 911 immediately.
