Edward Lee Tredway

Edward Lee Tredway, 73, a long time Quincy resident passed away at his home in Quincy surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

He was born on November 24, 1939 at South Gate, CA to Rex Everett and Emma Viola Tredway.

Ed attended school and graduated from Chaffey High School, Ontario, CA in 1958.

He got his first boat at the age of 15 and was never without a boat since then.

He married his great love Marta Aldrich on February 27, 1970, they moved to Quincy in 1975 where Ed was employed for the phone company as a C. O. Installer, he retired the first time in 1993 from GTE, and then retired in 1999 from NorTel.

Ed enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends at Lake Roosevelt, he and Marta loved being in their garden, in 2003 they became master gardeners.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Marta Tredway, father to Anthony Edward Tredway and Elizabeth Ann Pack, born Elizabeth Ann Tredway with his first wife Susan Taylor Tredway, grandchildren, Christina Pack, Alexandria Pack, Brandon Pack and Milo Constantinou-Tredway, one great-grandchild, Bryce Hendrick Sanden, sister, Kay (Tom) Neyman and niece Ivy Neyman. Special "uncle" to Cheryl and Leon Slusher's daughters, Tanya and Tina.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Faith Community Church, 1005 10th Ave. SW, Quincy, WA 98848.
