Best beard contest for 2014 begins now

ROYAL CITY - Royal City SummerFest is getting off to an earlier start than usual for 2014 with a best beard competition.

There will be several categories, including the Duck Dynasty beard, freestyle beard, partial beard, goatee and mustache. There will be cash awards for each category.

Louise Andersen is the chair of the contest, assisted by Courtney Andersen. Further details later.
