Teachers select students of the month
Maritza Garcia, Cesar Bernal, Ruben Hernandez, Victor Garcia
ROYAL CITY - Royal High School teachers have selected the students of the month for the month of October. They were selected from a list of nominees presented by counselor Marge Edwards.
The selections are based on several character traits, including leadership, citizenship and academics.
The October senior of the month is Maritza Garcia, daughter of Olga and Atilano Garcia of Royal City. The junior student of the month is Cesar Bernal, the son of Dario and Maria Bernal of Royal City.
Chosen sophomore student of the month was Ruben Hernandez, son of Petra Castaneda of Royal City.
The freshman student of the month is Victor Garcia, son of Salvador and Rosa Maria Garcia of Royal City.
