Ron Oakland, Moses Lake Resident, shows his 7lb Rainbow caught on a Rapala Shad Rap trolling at the east end of O'Sullivan Dam.

Walleye action continues to produce limits near Goose Island. Fishers are trolling, using blade baits on the face of the sand dunes and trolling a Rapala-Shad Rap at the mouth of Frenchman's Wasteway. The Lind Coulee Arm of Potholes Reservoir holds very good potential this time of year but we have not heard any reports confirming this so far this fall. With surface water temperatures plummeting with our cold night walleye jigging only improves. Bass action goes un-reported this week.

Goose Hunting has begun on the Royal Slope and the Sand Dune Duck Hunting has been very active as well. As we move closer to mid-November things will only improve as the weather cools up north, bringing more birds down.
