REC Silicon to reduce employees
REC has announced they will be implementing a workforce reduction.
MOSES LAKE — REC Silicon officials announced today they would be implementing a workforce reduction affecting about 60 positions across all its locations.
Officials cited continued weakness in the polysilicon industry as well as the ongoing trade dispute between the United States and China as reasons for the workforce reduction.
The measures will go into effect immediately, according to a company statement.
