Royal City man injured

ELLENSBURG – A Royal City man was hurt around mid-day on Sunday in a single-car crash seven miles south of Ellensburg.
Jose R. Vega Romero, 21, of Royal was northbound on Interstate 82 when he lost control of the 2005 Scion XD he was driving. The car went off the roadway to the left, the Washington State Patrol said, rolled and came to rest on its wheels.
According to the WSP, Vega Romero was wearing his safety restraint. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor, the WSP said.
Vega Romero was transported by aid to Kittitas Valley Hospital in Ellensburg. The vehicle was impounded by D&M Towing.
