Help us shape the future

| November 1, 2013 6:00 AM

The Columbia Basin Herald is seeking two people residing in the paper's coverage area to serve one-year terms on its Editorial Board.

The volunteer positions involve meeting with the existing board once a week, developing positions on local and state issues, and as a group, coming to a consensus on a weekly editorial piece.

Depending on the board members' skills and interests, some writing could be involved.

This is a great opportunity for people wanting to add volunteer experience to their resumes, get involved in the community, and set the agenda for local discussions.

Our new board members will have an interest in local issues.

Please email your letter of intent explaining your professional and/or volunteer background to Managing Editor Lynne Lynch at editor@columbiabasinherald.com.
