Steven D. Bifano

With family by his side, Steven Douglas Bifano passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Hospice House in Spokane. Steve was born on October 9, 1952 in Gunnison, Colorado to Delphie and Tony Bifano, where he was raised as the fifth of nine children. Steve later moved to Moses Lake, Washington where he graduated from high school and then met and married his wife Joyce. They then moved to Colorado, for a short time, where they had their son Tyrel before moving back to Washington. Steve spent most of his life working on ranches and feedlots in Oregon, Colorado, and Washington. He enjoyed his horses, roping, and playing cards with family and friends. Steve is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce, son Tyrel, mother Delphie, sisters, Darlene (John) Ash of Centennial, CO, Melba French of Gunnison, CO, Sylvia Carlson of Moses Lake, Beth (Gary) Smith of Cheney; brothers Darrell (Beverly) of Moses Lake and George of Gunnison, CO, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his father Tony, his brother Tony Lee, and his sister Melody. A memorial service will be held on June 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Bread of Life Community Church, 140 14th Ave NW, Ephrata, WA 98823, with Pastor Oscar Danforth officiating.
