Quincy motorcyclist injured in crash

QUINCY – Fred E. Yates, 68, of Quincy was injured in a motorcycle accident on May 17 three miles east of Quincy on Highway 28.
The 10:10 a.m. accident occurred when Yeates attempted to pass a farm implement by using the right shoulder of the road. The 2003 Harley Davidson FLHRCI he was driving when out of control and crashed into a ditch.
Yeates, who was wearing a helmet on the ride, was transported to Quincy Valley Hospital. The Harley-Davidson was towed from the scene by Quincy Towing.
