Kim graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1976. Kim had a beautiful singing voice and while in high school she was a member of the select and swing choirs. Kim was also part of the MLHS Drill team and Big Bend Manta Ray swim and diving teams.

Kim worked as a Medical Transcriptionist with the Moses Lake Clinic for 25 years before complications with her illness caused her to retire.

Kim loved volleyball and met the love of her life, John Miller on the volleyball court; together they traveled to volleyball tournaments and played on a co-ed team for many years. John and Kim were married on September 4, 1987 and were forever by each other's side. Their marriage on Labor Day weekend started the family tradition of the annual Labor Day camping trip which has continued for 25 years.

Kim is survived by her husband, John Lee Miller, Jr., her father, David J Fazende in Moses Lake, Mother-in-Law, Alice Miller, Gresham, Or., two sisters and their spouses, Crystal Fazende Knight (Chris) Stanwood, WA, Robin Fazende Goude(Gerald) Moses Lake, WA, brother, Robert Fazende, his daughter Samantha Fazende, Moses Lake, sister in law Jeanie Gates Fazende, her sons David and Tyler Fazende. Kim was a loving wife, a great sister, devoted daughter and loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Her absence will leave a void in our lives, but we know she is free of pain and having a great reunion with her mother, brother and grandparents.
