PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 125.8 acres in order to create three (3) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture and Rural Residential 1 zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Subdivision application received by Grant County on May 10, 2013 from Kirk and Jennifer Sager (Designated Contact: Paul Snelson of Knudsen Land Survey, P.O. Box 505, Ephrata, WA 98823), was found to be technically complete on May 21, 2013. PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 125.8 acres in order to create three (3) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture and Rural Residential 1 zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, Lot 1 is approximately 84.74 acres in size with 63.27 acres being designated as Open Space and will continue being used for agricultural purposes, there are no existing structures on this site. Lot 2 is approximately 9.29 acres in size with a residence, shop and barn which will continue to be used for residential purposes. Lot 3 is approximately 25.44 acres which is located in the Rural Residential 1 zone and will be used for agricultural purposes; there are no existing structures on this site. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site is located approximately 2 miles SW of Ephrata, WA, in between the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks and the West Canal in the south half Section 31, the south half of Section 32, and the north half of section 06, Township 20 and 21 North, Range 26 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #20-0290-000). PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture/RR 1. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
