Ladies limited to nine holes by rain

CRESCENT BAR – May 21 was a tough day for golf, with heavy rains wiping out nine holes of women's day competition.

However, there was ample time Vickie Brissey to play her way into the circle of honor three times. She won long drive and closest to the pin – 5-4 – in the second division and game of the day – three blind mice – partnered with Debbie Bolt.

First division gross was won by Geri Nohr with 52. Roe Olsen won second division gross with 53.

Second division net ended in a tie at 37 between Jan Harris and Wilma DeLeeuw. Olsen and Lyn Murray tied for second division net with 33.

Long drive for division one went to Mary Woolverton. There was no KP winner in division one.
