Names of Stanwood family released in fatal George car wreck

GEORGE — Four members of a Stanwood family were killed Sunday in a two vehicle colission near George.

The Chevrolet Tahoe they were riding in collided with a Kia Sportage SUV, and landed in a canal.

Gabriel Ochoa, 35, and Dioselina Buenrostro, 33, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two girls, Yesenia “Jessie,” 4, and Sandra Ochoa, 9, were given CPR on the scene and transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center in Quincy where they died a short time later, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.    

The name of the female driving the Kia was not released.
