4 die in car wreck near George

GEORGE - The Grant County Sheriff's Office is on scene of a two-vehicle fatality crash in George that occurred Sunday morning.
According to the sheriff's office, the crash happened about 10 a.m. on Beverly Burke Road SW and County Road One. One of the vehicle's ended up in the irrigation canal.
Two adults, one male and one female, died at the scene. Two children died after being transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center, according to the sheriff's office. The children were given CPR at the scene before being transported. The victims were in the vehicle that went into the canal.
A female driver in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and was also transported to the Quincy Hospital.
The names of the victims have not been released at this time. The cause is not yet known.
