PUBLIC NOTICE - FRANKLIN COUNTY

The Franklin County Public Works Department (represented by Matt Rasmussen, PE, County Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director), 3416 Stearman Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 is proposing a County Road project (SEPA 2013-05), for an R-170 Bridge (#608-2.35) Replacement (County Road Project [CRP] 604).

The Franklin County Public Works Department (represented by Matt Rasmussen, PE, County Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director), 3416 Stearman Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 is proposing a County Road project (SEPA 2013-05), for an R-170 Bridge (#608-2.35) Replacement (County Road Project [CRP] 604). Said project is for the replacement of an existing timber bridge with a concrete girder bridge. The bridge spans the Potholes East Canal. The replacement bridge will be for safety and maintenance purposes and will serve existing traffic. The bridge replacement project will occur after the irrigation season is over and the Potholes East Canal will be empty and not in use. The location of the bridge replacement project is at the section line common to Sections 21 and 28, Township 13 North, Range 31 East, W.M., Franklin County, Washington. The starting location of this project is 46.5913 N, 119.0513 W. The ending location of this bridge replacement project is 46.5913 N, 119.0492 W. The nearest town is Mesa, WA 99343. Environmental documents, site plans, and other materials pertinent to the proposed project are available for review at the Franklin County Planning and Building Department, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301. A Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) was issued on the 15th day of May 2013. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at which time the DNS will become final.
