GRATEFUL FOR DONATIONS

Sandy Finch, Jannie Neiffer and I would like to thank the community for the support they gave Flannery Edwards and her mother Marge as they faced the ordeal of a brain tumor together.

Getting home from the East has gone more quickly than anticipated. They left Pennsylvania right after the doctor's appointment on Friday, May 10.

Flannery apparently tolerated travel well enough that they were in Montana on Friday, May 17. They expected to arrive at home by Sunday.

The communities of Royal City and Ephrata and friends from all over Washington and the U.S. donated nearly $10,000 to help pay for the trip. This will help mitigate expenses that have accrued since the tumor was discovered in March. This will also help with the need for therapy that Flannery will now undergo.

Jannie says that Marge is grateful for the support and will now be able to handle their situation. No more donations are needed at this time. Thank you very much.
