Soap Lake man charged in attack

EPHRATA - A Soap Lake man reportedly broke into a Ephrata residence and allegedly attacked three women.

Kevin E. Webley, 43, was recently charged with one count of first-degree burglary and three counts of fourth-degree assault in Grant County Superior Court. One assault charge carried a domestic violence enhancement.

According to the police report, Webley went to the D Street Southwest residence on March 16 and forced his way through the door after one women opened it to see who was there.

After Webley was able to enter the home he confronted his ex-girlfriend and allegedly began punching her in the face.

According to court documents, one woman tried to stop Webley from punching her, but Webley allegedly began attacking her too.

During the attack Webley allegedly threatened to burn the house down. The third woman reportedly tried to stop Webley and she was also allegedly attacked. Webley reportedly fled the scene afterward.
