| May 14, 2013 8:05 AM

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man died after crashing his motorcycle near Patton Boulevard in Moses Lake Monday afternoon.

Jonathan Jones, 28, was riding his motorcycle north on 22nd Avenue Northeast about 5:30 p.m., according to information released Tuesday by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones reportedly lost control of the bike riding through a sweeping curve. The motorcycle struck the curb and Jones was ejected from the bike, hitting a concrete block.

Emergency responders attempted CPR, but Jones’ injuries were too severe. He died a short time later at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.

Jones was reportedly wearing a helmet.
