Small fire affects Monday Columbia Basin Herald

COEUR D'ALENE — A small late-night electrical fire scrambled the printing schedule and sliced about four pages out of the Monday Columbia Basin Herald.

"Nobody was hurt; the only casualties were Monday's sports pages and a couple of legal notices," Publisher Harlan Beagley said Monday. "By 2 a.m. we decided we should print without them rather miss our deadline and delay your paper."

The missing pages will be printed in the Tuesday edition, Beagley said. The missing content is available online by clicking here, and Monday's e-edition will be available at no charge.
