Rodney Arnold Collinsworth

Rodney Arnold Collinsworth, 46, "Hot Rod" as many knew him, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in his home in Moses Lake, WA. Rodney was born June 10, 1966 in Centralia, WA to Leonard and Katherine Collinsworth.

Rodney graduated from Rochester High School and attended Centralia Community College for diesel mechanics, where he obtained an Associate Degree. He lived in Lewis County, Rochester, Morton and Centralia before coming to Moses Lake 7 years ago with his family. He worked at Busby and most recently for Simplot as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, barbecue, swimming, working on cars hanging out with friends, backyard barbecue boxing, drinking, and especially spending time with his family and children.

Rodney is survived by Melissa L. Beckett, children Hailey Beckett, Dekota Collinsworth and Marissa Rose Collinsworth; grandson Alexzander Arnold Beckett; sister Shirley Diaz, brothers Richard Schoonover and Jerry Schoonover; nephew Angel (Victoria) Diaz and family, and all of the Pena family; and numerous friends near and far.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Mackenzie Ameeron Collinsworth in 2004.

Memorial services are pending and will be announced when scheduled.
