MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Farmer's Market is back.

Starting this weekend, residents can head to McCosh Park every Saturday for local produce, food items and crafts.

Market Manager Nancy Beall said the farmer's market will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays until October 26.

The market has about 30 vendors signed up so far, she said.

"Later this summer though, we'll have upwards of 80," she said. "That's when all the produce is in season."

Beall said 2013 also marks the market's 35th anniversary. The variety of items available at the market is what makes it so successful, she said.

Vendors sell everything from fresh produce, baked goods, specialty sauces, soaps and crafts, said Beall. There are also vendors who sell mini donuts, kettle corn and espresso, she said.

"There's a huge variety, there's a little bit of everything," said Beall.
