Nilace Margaret Sorenson Sparks

Graveside services will be held at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake, Washington on Friday May 3, 2013 at 2:30 p.m.

Nilace, 87, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She was born July 19, 1925 in Heyburn, Idaho and raised on a farm with two brothers. Nilace has a twin brother Nile whom she adored.

Nilace married Ruland Sparks in 1968. They moved to Moses Lake and where they began farming with Ruland's brother David Sparks. Nilace loved working with her hands. She could drive a tractor and then prepare a delicious meal. She enjoyed genealogy in her later years. She loved learning and took advantage of every chance she had to learn a little more. She has many friends in Moses Lake who loved her sweet smile and encouragement.

Nilace was mother to two children, Rex Corless & (wife) Myriam and Deanna Carnie & (husband) George. She had moved to Michigan to be near Rex and his family.

Nilace Sorenson is preceded in death by her daughter Deanna Carnie and her husband Ruland Sparks. She is survived by her son Rex Corless and wife Myriam and their 7 children and spouses. (Vanessa, Daniel, Ryan, David, Lara, Rachel and Michael) and her son in law George Carnie and 4 children and spouses. (Darin, Malia, Landon and Lorie)

Family was so important to Nilace. We honor and know she is enjoying a sweet reunion with waiting loved ones and family.
