Crash near Warden takes life of Moses Lake man

WARDEN – A Moses Lake man died in a one-car crash on April 18 near here, according to the Grant County Sheriff.

Grant County deputies responded to the accident on a private roadway East of Rd 7 SE and Rd R SE.

Jerry Kinkade,53, of Moses Lake was driving a 1998 Ford Windstar eastbound on the private roadway when he lost control of the Windstar and struck a small concrete irrigation ditch.

The vehicle rolled onto its side, and Kinkade was partially ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kinkade was not wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was determined to be a factor. Sheriff Tom Jones stated.
