The City of Mesa Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing, May 16, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Mesa City Hall, P.O. Box 146, 103 Franklin Street, Mesa, WA 99343 to review the Zoning Ordinance, add regulations regarding Medical Marijuana, to follow State and Federal laws.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Mesa Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing, May 16, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Mesa City Hall, P.O. Box 146, 103 Franklin Street, Mesa, WA 99343 to review the

Zoning Ordinance, add regulations regarding Medical Marijuana, to follow State and Federal laws. Replace the word “Uniform” with “State adopted” in regards to building codes in the Mesa Municipal Code, and add “Night watchman residence” to definition in the zoning code.

The purpose for this public hearing will be to receive public comments and views. If you have any comments relating to the Zoning Ordinance please attend this meeting or submit your comments to City Hall.

After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file, the City of Mesa, as the SEPA lead agency, has determined this non-project action will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. The city has issued a DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC), which can be obtained from the address shown above. The fourteen (14) day comment period ends May 16, 2013.
