Rogelio "Roy" Padron

Rogelio "Roy" Padron, 60, of Quincy, passed away on Sunday, March 17 at home surrounded by family.

He was born December 4, 1952, in Robstown, Texas, the son of the late Jose Roberto Padron and Amelia Perez Padron. On November 3, 1979, he married Angie Garza, who survives him.

He graduated from Quincy High School in 1973 and from Wenatchee Valley College in 1999.

We would like to thank Dr. Stephen Voorhies and Kathy his R.N., the hospice nurses and bath aide for taking such good care of our loved one.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia Perez Padron; his daughters Sonia O. Padron, of Quincy, and Sulema R. Padron, of Ephrata; grandchildren Daniel J. Padron, of Quincy, Angel and Asia Alvarado and Armani Gutierrez, of Ephrata; siblings Angelina Avila, of Quincy, Yolanda (Roger) Mata, Rachel (Johnny) Hernandez, Elva Murdock and Michael Padron, all of Arizona, and Jose Padron, of Wenatchee; and many relatives near and far.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Alfredo; sisters Margarita and Beatriz; and brothers Freddie and Eddie.

A service was held at 11 a.m. on Thurday, March 21 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, in Quincy.

Rosary was recited on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home.
