PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO

EXISTING SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013, at 9:00 am in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the County Courthouse, 1016 North Fourth Avenue, Pasco, Washington, for the purpose of taking testimony concerning the amending of the existing 2013-2018 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program. “Each county shall perpetually have available advanced plans looking to the future for not less than six years as a guide in carrying out a coordinated transportation program” (RCW 36.81.121(1)).

The amendments to the 2013-2018 Program are available at the Franklin County Public Works Department at 3416 Stearman Avenue, Pasco, Washington, 509-545-3514, and on the County website: www.co.franklin.wa.us/public_works/index.html. Comments on the amendments to the existing Program can be delivered orally or in writing at the public hearing and through written correspondence to be delivered prior to the date and time of the public hearing.

Franklin County ensures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by prohibiting discrimination against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the provision of benefits & services resulting from its federally assisted programs & activities.
