State Reps. hosting town hall

| March 27, 2013 6:00 AM

OLYMPIA - Residents of the 13th Legislative District are invited to join Reps. Judy Warnick and Matt Manweller for a telephone town hall on Thursday, March 28.

The event works much like a call-in radio show, where residents can listen in and ask questions of their lawmakers. People who want to join the meeting over the phone can call toll-free (877) 229-8493, then enter pin number 15542.

The call will start at 6:30 p.m. and last one hour.

"Telephone town halls are the most effective way for us to reach out to constituents and get the most input from around our large district," Moses Lake's Warnick said.

"As we work through the final six weeks of the session, now is a good time to hear from constituents on issues before us such as education reforms, transportation proposals, the budget and improving the economy," Ellensburg's Manweller said.

The 105-day legislative session is scheduled to adjourn April 28.
