MOSES LAKE — The City of Moses Lake is continuing to update its Comprehensive Plan and will hold another visioning workshop at 6 p.m. tonight.

In the fourth workshop organized by the city’s planning staff, participants will work in groups to finish writing and designing what the vision statement will look like. The categories of housing and tourism will be discussed and a statement will be created for each.

The plan is to also create a statement to tie the categories of the vision of the city, including retail and dining, healthy lifestyles, education, beautification, public safety, transportation, culture, health care and the lake.

Assistant Planner Bille Muñoz said the city has planned for an additional workshop at a later date following tonight's meeting. More meetings may be necessary depending on what is accomplished tonight and if citizens and the planning staff are happy with the outcome.

The workshop will be held at the Moses Lake Civic Center council chamber on 401 Balsam St.
