Seattle driver hurt in car-truck crash

MOSES LAKE - A Seattle woman was injured on March 11 when the car she was driving collided with a truck driven by a Warden man on the freeway at Moses Lake.

The collision occurred at around 10:25 a.m. The Washington State Patrol said it happened when the car, eastbound on I-90 near milepost 176, drifted from the left lane into the right and into the truck.

The car, a 2007 Subaru Impreza, was driven by Shirley M. Lindquist, 76, of Seattle. It rolled after it collided with the truck, coming to rest in the inside lane.

Lindquist was wearing her seat belt, but she was hurt.

The driver of the truck, a 2003 Kenworth cement mixer, was Ismael Pruneda, 37 of Warden. He was using his seat belt and was unhurt. The truck sustained $1,000 in damage. It was driven from the scene.
