Sealed bids will be received from qualified Contractors for the above project by North Franklin School District No. J51-162 at the District Office, 1100 W. Clark Street, P.O. Box 829, Connell WA 99326. Base bids and Alternate Bids shall be delivered by mail or by hand on or before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. All bids will be opened at 3:00 p.m. Address Bid Proposals to Superintendent Gregg Taylor, North Franklin School District, 1100 W. Clark Street, P.O. Box 829, Connell WA 99326-0829. Bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the District Office on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., by Gregg Taylor or his authorized representative for evaluation and recommendation of award.

Only General Contractors bidding as prime, as well as Mechanical and Electrical major contractors and Food Service suppliers may obtain documents from ALSC Architects, P.S., 203 N. Washington, Suite 400, Spokane, WA 99201, (509) 838-8568 on or after March 18, 2013 upon payment of $175.00 per set refundable deposit. General Contractor Bidders may have two (2) sets of documents, Mechanical and Electrical contractors desiring more than one (1) set of documents may obtain additional or partial sets of documents at their own cost from Abadan Reprographics, 603 E. Second, Spokane, WA 99201, (509) 747-2964.
A Pre-Bid Conference and site tour will be held at Connell High School, Connell WA on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Attendance at the conference is highly encouraged.
Bid Proposals shall be on forms furnished by the Architect. Bid security by a qualified surety in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount shall be submitted with the understanding that if bid is accepted, Bidder will enter into a formal contract with North Franklin School District No. J51-162 in accordance with the form of agreement and that the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be provided.
The right to reject any or all bid proposals, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities therein is reserved by North Franklin School District No. J51-162.
