EPHRATA - The three Quincy men arrested during last week's drug bust are facing charges in Grant County Superior Court.

Prosecutors charged Alberto Nunez, 34, with possession of controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Armando Herrera, 22, and Toribio Hernandez, 36, each face a charge of possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver. Prosecutors also charged Hernandez for being armed with a firearm.

The Grant County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) served two search warrants last Thursday at two separate Quincy homes, according to a previous Columbia Basin Herald article.

INET officers seized heroin and drug paraphernalia from a home in the 100 block of D Street Northeast in Quincy, according to records. Nunez was arrested following the search.

Officers then searched a home in the 100 block of H Street Southeast in Quincy and discovered more than 5 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a semi-automatic firearm and a small amount of prescription pills.

Herrera and Hernandez were arrested following that search and transported to Grant County Jail, according to court records.

More than $4,000 and a 2002 Acura vehicle were also confiscated during the searches, according to a previous article.

The arrests were the result of a four-month investigation by INET officers.
