Warden police seek details on shooting

WARDEN - The Warden Police Department is seeking information about a possible gang-related shooting this week.

About 4 a.m. Tuesday, Warden police reported a 19-year-old Othello man was treated for a small caliber single gunshot wound to the leg, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office. The man claimed members from a local street gang were suspects and he was a victim of gang violence. He also told investigators he was shot in the city limits of Warden, but this has not been confirmed by police. Investigators are actively pursuing all leads and ask for anyone with information to contact the Warden Police Department at 509-349-2232.
