Colin Webster

Colin Webster, 64, of Othello (Mardon area) died in his home Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Colin was born March 13, 1948 in Boise, ID to John and Ida (Cramer) Webster.

Colin's family moved to Enumclaw when he was around 6-7 years old, where he grew up and attended school. Colin developed a love for flying at a very young age, and flew various aircraft since he was a teenager. After high school, Colin joined the U.S. Army and served honorably during the latter part of the Vietnam War. He worked as a police officer for 7 years in Enumclaw, WA so he could attend college and become a commercial pilot, which he did and began his career flying for the Flying TIgers (Cargo Airline), which later became FedEx. He flew for them for more than 25 years. After moving to the Mardon area 10 years ago, he volunteered countless hours as a local EMT.

Colin is survived by his beloved wife of more than 35 years, Chriss Webster of Othello (Mardon area), daughter Jamie Webster; and many friends.

A Celebration of Colin's life will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Mike's Place, 7037 Highway 262 SE, Othello, WA.
