Bonnie Joy Buchmann

| March 13, 2013 6:00 AM

On March 6, 2013 Bonnie Joy Buchmann was welcomed into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior. Her family surrounded her as she left us for her heavenly home.

She was born on August 28, 1929 in Anacortes, WA to Fred and Mary (Satre) Brown. She and her family moved to Mansfield where she spent her early childhood. Being an only child, her playmates were the animals she loved and cared for. She rode her horse to elementary school. One time she rode her horse to a tent revival. She moved with her family to many places until they settled in Moses Lake. She married Raymond Buchmann in July 1947. After a fruitful marriage and five children, Raymond was taken from the family in a tragic accident. Then in October 1954 she married Elmer Buchmann, Raymond's older brother. This marriage was also fruitful with five children. Last October they celebrated 58 wonderful years of love and adventures. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was generous, selfless, caring, and showed unconditional love to all; a faithful, godly woman who loved her Lord and lived her faith. Everyone who knew Bonnie loved her. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She never met a stranger. She welcomed everyone onto her home and could fix a feast fit for royalty.
