Mold growth is a direct result of water infiltration. Whether due to standing water or high humidity levels over a long period of time, the first step in eliminating mold is to stop the moisture from coming into the affected area(s). And damage from mold growth isn't limited to building materials and personal property; the correlation between excessive mold growth and serious health issues can be a real concern.
