MOSES LAKE - A fire destroyed a home on Northshore Drive Sunday night in Moses Lake.

The Moses Lake Fire Department responded to a call about 5:30 p.m. Sunday at 236 Northshore Drive.

Dana Andrade, the homeowner, said the breaker in the house tripped and she went to reset it. When she returned to the living room, she saw smoke and flames coming from behind a couch next to a large window at the front of the house. Andrade said there is a electrical outlet in the area where the fire originated. She said fire crews responded quickly. The front window and two side window were broken and fire damage was visible throughout the room.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time, according to the fire department, and is still under investigation.
