James L. Byrd

James L. Byrd, age 48 passed away March 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.

James was born September 21, 1964 to Pat and Sonny Byrd, in Moses Lake, Washington.

He graduated from Moses Lake High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy - Retired.

James was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish, his passion was studying the Bible.

James is survived by his loving wife Lorien Byrd, his son Jonah Byrd, his father Sonny Byrd, his mother Patricia Byrd, four sisters, one brother and 11 nieces and nephews, and numerous loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Military Honors Ceremony will be held March 15, 2013 at 1:30 p.m., at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road in Medical Lake Washington.
