PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 136.8 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Subdivision application received by Grant County on February 25, 2013 from Gilbert Land Co. (Designated Contact: Jim Keyes: Prairie Land Surveying, 5134 Rd. E.7 NE Moses Lake, WA 98837), was found to be technically complete on February 25, 2013. PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of approximately 136.8 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, Lot 1 is vacant and will be an approximately 3.34 acre flag lot; Lot 1 has residential capacity which has been specified in the application as future development. Lot 2 will be approximately 133.5 acres in size, with contains four farm labor housing units, related outbuildings and farmland. Lot 2 will continue with its current uses. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 14356 & 14368 Rd. C SE, Othello, WA. It is located approximately 9 miles SE of Royal City, WA, on the North end of Rd C in the NE quarter of Section 16, Township 16 North, Range 27 East, and the SE corner of Section 9, Township 16 North, Range 27 East WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #21-1930-000). PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
