Tomasita (Fraire) Mora

Tomasita (Fraire) Mora of Quincy, WA passed away at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA, on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the age of 89.

Tomasita was born to Jovita and Vincente Fraire in Dalhart, TX on December 29, 1923. She eventually located to Denver, Colorado where she met the love of her life, Anthony B Mora. The two were married on March 7, 1942. They started their Family in Colorado and moved west to the Yakima Valley and then to Quincy in 1955. Tomasita had strong family values. She was most happy when surrounded by Family. She will always be remembered for her dedicated support of family and friends. She loved seeing her family participate in softball and other activities which will leave a great legacy of her children growing up in Quincy and surrounding areas for years to come. She liked shopping, listening to music, watching her Spanish programs and enjoying her morning breakfast visits with her daughters before they went off to work. She was very proud to support graduating Quincy High School Seniors with scholarships honoring her late husband.

Tomasita is survived by her 14 children: daughter Patricia (Patrick) Quinn, Lacey WA; daughter Sandra (Rudy)Trevino, Quincy, WA; daughter Christina (Homero) Garces, Quincy, WA; daughter Veronica (Raymond) Molsbarger, Pasco, WA; daughter Debbie (Antonio) Reyes, Quincy, WA; son Anthony (Susie) Mora, Ephrata, WA; daughter Henrietta (Robert) Luna, Quincy, WA; son Frank Vincent (Sonia) Mora, Quincy, WA; daughter Judy (John)Lindquist, George, WA; daughter Jackie Mora, Ephrata, WA; daughter Bonnie (Daniel) Robinson, Quincy, WA; daughter Isabelle (Ruben)Puente Quincy, WA; daughter Cindy (Roy) Echavarria, Quincy, WA; daughter Bobbi Jo (David) Peters, Ephrata, WA; 47 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 17 great, great grandchildren, her sister Grace (Joe)Mascarenas; sister Jenny (Gilbert)Flores; sister Jovita (Raymond) Ambriz, Quincy, WA.

Tomasita was predeceased in death by her parents Jovita and Vincente Fraire; her infant son Anthony Mora; husband Anthony B Mora; her sister Antonia Gomez; brother Jose Jimenez; brother Angelo Fraire; sister Lucy Carrasco; sister Celia Carto; granddaughter Gina Marie Martinez.

A rosary will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the St. Pius X Catholic Church in Quincy, WA at 5:30 p.m.

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Tomasita will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the St. Pius X Catholic Church in Quincy. Concluding service will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.

She will be greatly missed by her Family. She is the Center of Their Universe.
