Students of month chosen for Royal High School
In order: Diana Santacruz (Senior), Tanner Christensen (Junior), Danitza Perez (Sophomore), Miriam Bautista-Rodriguez (Freshman)
ROYAL CITY - The individuals chosen students of the month for February for Royal High School have been named by counselor Marge Edwards.
The teaching staff voted for the students off a list of nominations distributed by Edwards. The nominations were based on several criteria, including academics and citizenship.
The senior student of the month is Diana Santacruz, the daughter of Antonio and Martha Santacruz of Royal City. Her junior counterpart is Tanner Christensen, the son of Daren and Nancy Christensen of Royal City.
Sophomore student of the month is Danitza Perez, the daughter of Juan Altamirano and Matilde Hernandez of Royal City. The freshman so honored is Miriam Bautista-Rodriguez, the daughter of Juan and Reyna Bautista of Royal City.
