Prosecutor needs to act

Crime in our city is completely out of hand; Prosecutor Angus Lee needs to get tough or resign.

Monday's paper tells us of a man thrown from his vehicle after he tries to get his stolen bike back in downtown Moses Lake. One of the alleged perpetrators, Bethany Smith, has been in the police blotter of our paper at least three times in the last year for various theft or robbery charges, yet she still roams our streets, causing havoc and posing a real danger to folks. If this latest incident is plea bargained, it will be time for a change at the prosecutor's office post haste.
