The Board of Directors of the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District have surplused a “residential” mobile home and have set a base bid price of $53,000.00.
1. Item for sale: 2012 Marlette 1st Edition Model #9737. Eco-rated Energy Star Package: R-40 roof – rated for 30 lbs., R-21 walls, R-30 floor. 30’ x 56’, including deck. This unit is approximately 1440 sq. ft. of usable living space, 2 bedroom and additional bedroom/den/office w/double door, 2 bath, open concept living area. The attached, full width covered porch (Timber Tech Decking) adds another approximate 240 sq. ft. of outdoor living space. 2. No Warranties or Representations: MLIRD makes no warranties or representations regarding the mobile home. The mobile home will be sold “as is.” Without limiting the foregoing, to MLIRD’s knowledge, this unit is new and has never been set up or used.
3. Terms of sale:
a. Minimum bid price: $53,000.00
b. Bidder must submit with bid certified check in the total amount of the bid.
c. MLIRD will quit claim title to the successful bidder transferred within three days after certified check is honored.
d. MLIRD shall grant all of MLIRD’s right of possession to the successful bidder at the time title is transferred
e. All risk of loss shall be bidder’s upon transfer of title and possession.
f. Winner bidder will execute acknowledgement that sale is made on an “as is” basis without warranty or representation, and a representation that the purchase is not
made on behalf of any unidentified person or principal, and that no MLIRD employee or official has any interest in the purchase.
g. Purchaser will be responsible to pay all excise and other taxes, charges or fees arising from the purchase of the mobile home and/or the movement of the mobile home.
4. Bid packets: Bid packets with additional information can be obtained at the MLIRD office, 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA 98837 during business hours (typically Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5. Time and Place of Bid Opening: Bid opening will be Tuesday at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the MLIRD Board of Directors at 7:00 p.m. on July 9, 2013, at the MLIRD office, in the conference room at 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA 98837.
All bids must be received at the office of MLIRD, 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA 98837 no later than 2:00 p.m. on July 8, 2013. Bid time is kept by MLIRD’s official bid clock in the front office. Late bids will not be considered.
6. Right to Reject All Bids: This request for bids is not an offer. Submitted bids are offers to contract. MLIRD reserves the right to reject all bids for any reason and reopen bidding.
7. Terms of Advertisement Controlling: The terms of this advertisement control over any inconsistent terms in the bid packet.
