Report of body in lake unfounded

MOSES LAKE - A report of a body floating near Cascade Park in Moses Lake turned out to be a pile of sticks.
According to reports, officers responded to a call for a body found near the boat launch at Cascade Park about 5 p.m. Wednesday. An officer responded and it was determined the object was a pile of wood floating in the lake, Moses Lake Police Capt. Dave Sands told the Columbia Basin Herald.
