Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Substantial Development) & Discretionary Use Review received on 6/3/13 from Grant County PUD (Contact Debbie Knaub, PO Box 878, Ephrata, WA 98823), was found to be Technically Complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of 6/17/13. PROJECT: To improve the Buckshot Range Recreation Area, including: 1) Parking lot improvements including ADA accessibility; 2) ADA accessible vault toilet; 3) ADA accessible trail to elevated boardwalk/walkway and ADA Hunting Blind; 4) Elevated boardwalk/walkway to ADA Hunting Blind; 5) ADA accessible Hunting Blind. SHORELINE DESIGNATION: Suburban. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: WDFW Hydraulic Approval. LOCATION: The project site is located at Buckshot Ranch. There is no street address, but the project area is an existing public boat launch and parking area on the east side of the Columbia River. The project area is located near the town of Mattawa, Washington and is located 5.3 miles upstream from Priest Rapids Dam. The site can be accessed from Highway 243 then Road 26 SW until the terminus of Road 26 at the Columbia River. The site is located in the SW 1/4 of Section 9, Township 14 North, Range 23 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #15-0071-000. ZONING: Rural Remote. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, international Building Code, and International Fire Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on above listed materials.
