Selah man hurt in truck crash

GEORGE - A Selah man was injured when he failed to negotiate a turn and the truck he was driving flipped onto its right side near here on May 24.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on Highway 281, the Washington State Patrol reported. It happened when David S. Holtzclaw, 28, of Selah, southbound, was attempting to turn his truck onto the Highway 281 spur in that area.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved, the WSP said, and Holtzclaw was using his seatbelt. Injured, he was transported to Quincy Valley Hospital.

According too the WSP, Holtzclaw was driving too fast for conditions.
