Russ Larson, Don McGinnes take first at Memorial Golf Tournament

CRESCENT BAR – Russ Larson and Don McGinnes teamed to shoot 137 for first place in the net-only Memorial Golf Tournament at Crescent Bar on May 31.

Twenty eight golfers participated in the tournament which memorializes past Crescent Bar Golf Club members. The game of the day was 2-man team, low net, combined.

The second place team was Jim Kelly and Orland Wood with 139. Third place went to Leo Davis and Marty Bigelow with 140.

Joe Quintanilla and Bill Parker took fourth place with146. And Wes Prinzen and Mark Hillard finished fifth with 147.

Closest to the pin winners were:

Hole No. 3 was Don McGinnis, 10-0.

Hole No. 5 was Mark Hillard, 10-11 ½.

Hole No. 12 was Jim Kelly, 26-10.

Hole No. 14 was Jim Kelly, 8-3

Accurate Drive winner was Jim Kelly .
